Divine Liturgy is normally held on the first Saturday of each month at 10am.

During the service, all Orthodox Christians are invited to Confession and Holy Communion. Other Church services (Christening, marriage, funeral, house blessing, etc.) may be organized by preliminary arrangement. Please contact the Church Warden for further information (see Contact us).

Liturgies take place at:

St Mary’s Church, Bishophill Junior, York, YO1 6EN (please see parking information below).

Saturday 15th of April 2023, 10 am – Holy Saturday, Vespers combined with Divine Liturgy of St Basil the Great, blessing of Easter food after the service (around 1 pm)

Saturday  6th of May 2023, 10 am – Divine Liturgy.

Saturday  3rd of June 2023, 10 am – Divine Liturgy.

Saturday  5th of August 2023, 10 am – Divine Liturgy. 

Saturday  9th of September 2023, 10 am – Divine Liturgy. 

Saturday  30th of September 2023, 10 am – Divine Liturgy.

Saturday 7th of October 2023, 10 am – Service canceled

Saturday  4th of November  2023, 10 am – Divine Liturgy

Saturday  9th December   2023, 10 am – Divine Liturgy

 

 

Parking at St Marys Bishophill

1.Use the carpark behind the Odeon in The Crescent YO24 1AJ cost £3.00 for 3 hours (10 minute walk)

2.You can also park in Scarcroft Road (YO21 1DB) or Albemarle Road (YO23 1FB) at the end closest to Tadcaster Road it is free parking (20 minute walk).

3.Use the car park under the car park at Jewbury YO31 7PL cost £1.00 per hour (20 minute walk)

4.Use the Park & Ride system (White Line 3)  from the Tesco store in Tadcaster Road YO24 1LW. This costs £2.50 return to Blossom Street then 5 minute walk.

All Blue Badge holders can park anywhere.
